Dean
Carter
After back to back seasons
with National and Divisional Championships in Competition Eliminator Dean
started out 2005 with not quite the good fortunes that his 2003/2004 seasons
held. With great driving down the stretch Dean’s National Record
holding A/ND posted two late season divisional wins to claim the Division 7
Championship. |

JD Zink
JD set low ET at almost
every Good-Guys race he attended in 2005 including a 6.989 190.89 at the
17th Annual Nitro Nationals, an event in which he won. His 400 cubic
inch alcohol injected Eaton Enterprises power plant racked up several wins
in Jr. Fuel with his front engine dragster. JD seemed to have a lock
on the Good-Guys Jr. Fuel Championship when he suffered an untimely
blow-over accident in the final round of the final race. Fortunately
JD walked away with only minor injuries and finished 2nd in the points
chase. |
