K&N Winternationals Pomona CA = 9 Qualifiers and 4 out of the Top Ten.  #19 Qualifier Jim Cowan Runner Up

 

Checker Schuck’s Kragen NHRA Nationals Phoenix AZ = 9 Qualifiers and 2 out of the Top Ten.

 

LODRS Division 7 Phoenix= Bryan Downing Wins in S/G!!!

Mac Tools Gatornationals Gainesville FL = # 6 Qualifier Terry Smith

 

46th Annual March Meet Bakersfield Ca = J.D. Zink sets Low ET of the event 6.932 @ 191.20

 

 

April

 

Jegs.com Cajun Sportsnationals Bell Rose LA = Bill Morse Qualifies # 15.  Michael Johnson Qualifies #3 and Wins the Cajun Sportsnationals.

 

LODRS Division 7 Tucson AZ = #4 Qualifier Steve Wilmoth, # 7 Qualifier Dean Carter, and # 11 Qualifier Tom Mettler.

 

LODRS Division 3 Indianapolis IN = #11 Qualifier Terry Smith

 

LODRS Division 4 Ennis TX = #12 Qualifier Bill Morse.  The father and son team of Cordis and Michael Johnson Qualify #6 and #3.  Cordis scores a semi-final appearance and Michael Johnson makes it 2 in a row!

 

17th Annual Nitro Nationals Sonoma Ca = J.D. Zink wins the event and sets Low ET of the event 6.898 @ 190.89

 

LODRS Division 7 = Dean Carter Sets A/ND National Record 6.94 @ 190.59

 

LODRS Division 3 Indianapolis, IN = Ray Vierheller Sets I/A National Record 8.30 @ 161.50

 

Jegs.com Cajun Sportsnationals Bell Rose, LA = Michael Johnson Sets G/SMA National Record 8.81 @ 151.22

 

 

May

 

LODRS Division 6 Mission BC = #2 Qualifier Mike DePalma, #3 Qualifier Adam Bowdish, and # 9 Qualifier Scott Hedlund.  (Event Postponed)

 

LODRS Division 5 Great Bend KS = #8 Qualifier Michael Johnson, #10 Qualifier Cordis Johnson, #11 Qualifier Robert Baldwin, #13 Qualifier Tom Schmidt, and # 15 Qualifier Shaun Vincent.  Runner-up Finish for Michael Johnson propels him into the Top 10 in National Points.

 

LODRS Division 4 Gilliam LA = #11 Qualifier Bill Morse

 

LODRS Division 7 Bakersfield CA = 6 out of the top 16 Qualifiers including #2 Qualifier Jeff Lion, #3 J.D. Zink, and #5 Tom Mettler.

 

 

June

 

LODRS Division 5 Brainerd, MN = Tom Schmidt, Robert Baldwin, Tony Jackson, Michael Johnson, and Cordis Johnson go #4, 5, 6, 7, 9 in Qualifying.  Schmidt and Jackson meet in the final with Jackson taking the title.

 

LODRS Division 6 Boise, ID = Adam Bowdish outruns them all and qualifies #1.

 

LODRS Division 5 Morrison, CO = #4 Qualifier Mike DePalma, #5 Dean Carter, #6 Bill Kent, #7 Joe Mozeris, #13 Robert Baldwin.  Mike DePalma scores a Runner-Up.

 

LODRS Division 6 Kent, WA = #6 Qualifier Steve Wilmoth.  Wilmoth makes it to the Semi-Finals.

 

36th Annual K&N Filters Supernationals Englishtown, NJ = George Vignona Qualifies #11 in Super Stock with –1.021 under the index.

 

NHRA Holley Hot Rod Reunion Bowling Green, KY = Stu Sanderhaus gets a Runner Up in Jr. Fuel
